Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team, focusing on the development and fabrication of satellite structures. The ideal candidate will have expertise in materials such as composites, aluminum, and carbon fiber, alongside a strong understanding of the unique manufacturing processes involved in the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop manufacturing processes for satellite structures.
- Collaborate with program managers to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
- Oversee the fabrication of satellite components, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct thermal analysis and testing of materials used in satellite structures.
- Implement and optimize production techniques to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and provide innovative solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the aerospace or satellite industry.Strong knowledge of materials including composites, aluminum, and carbon fiber.Program management experience will be a huge +Experience with thermal analysis and testing of materials.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for satellite manufacturing.Benefits
