The University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join our well-established, high-functioning General Surgery practice located on the hospitals main campus in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

Job Description

• Join a collegial team of four general surgeons providing a full spectrum of bread-and-butter general surgery.
• Perform inpatient and emergency department consults, manage post-operative care, and see clinic patients (new and established).
• Enjoy dedicated OR block time, with the ability to perform a wide range of minimally invasive procedures.
• Supported by advanced practice providers and a highly efficient surgical and administrative staff.

Compensation :  $275,000 annual salry.  Final compensation will be determined based on the candidates experience, training, and qualifications.

Other Incentives :  call compensation, sign on bonus of $20,000.00 and productivity incentives based on RVUs
