Job Title : Buyer

Location : Lockport, LA

Position Overview : The Buyer is responsible for managing the acquisition of goods and services required for the construction and maintenance of vessels, facilities, and administrative functions. This role involves purchasing, vendor negotiations, bid evaluation, and order tracking. The Buyer ensures the availability of materials and services on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Procurement Execution

• Respond to purchase requests for maintenance, repair, office supplies, and project-related needs.
• Generate purchase orders for both handwritten and system-based requisitions using the company’s procurement system.
• Produce receiving reports for service-related POs.
