Preferred Podiatry Group is actively seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) to provide exceptional podiatric care in skilled nursing facilities, nursing homes, and assisted / independent living environments. Key Responsibilities :
- Assess, diagnose, and treat conditions affecting the foot and lower extremities.
- Provide diabetic foot care and preventive wound management.
- Educate patients and caregivers about foot health and mobility preservation.
- Collaborate with nursing facility staff to ensure patient-centered care.
- Participate in Medicare quality programs to ensure superior patient outcomes.
- Document clinical encounters using NextGen EMR on a company-issued iPad.
What We're Looking For :
A Master's degree and completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program (required).Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant or eligibility to obtain a license (required).Experience post-Physician Assistant training in podiatry is highly preferred.Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) (required).Clinical experience in podiatry subsequent to PA training is strongly preferred.Able to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.Ability to bend, lift, and carry items weighing up to 15 pounds when necessary.What You'll Love About PPG :
