Are you passionate about empowering innovative startups to succeed in the cloud computing era? Do you have a proven track record in architecting and delivering solutions on AWS? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Solutions Architect.

Responsibilities

Work closely with startup customers to understand their technical requirements, business objectives, and growth plans, and architect AWS-based solutions that align with their goals.
Lead technical discussions, present best practices, and guide startups on AWS architecture, services, and solutions to ensure scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Support to provide comprehensive solutions to startups, addressing their specific needs and driving successful outcomes.
Design and implement proof-of-concepts (POCs) and reference architectures to showcase the value of AWS services and demonstrate their potential impact on the customer's business.
Stay up-to-date with AWS services, industry trends, and best practices, share this knowledge within the team, and drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Participate in workshops, webinars, and events to evangelize AWS solutions for startups and contribute to the growth of the AWS startup ecosystem.

About the Team

The AWS Startup Solutions Architecture team is dedicated to working with startup companies as they build their businesses. We help them deploy scalable, secure, cost-effective, and easy-to-operate architectures. We value diverse experiences and inclusion, and we encourage candidates to apply even if they do not meet every preferred qualification.

Basic Qualifications

8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics

3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures

10+ years of IT development or implementation / consulting in the software or Internet industries

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience

Experience working with end user or developer communities

Experience building / implementing / designing Web3 architectures. Understanding of Web3, Blockchain, DeFi, Smart Contracts, or Decentralized Apps

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200 / year to $239,000 / year, depending on location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company; additional equity, sign-on payments, and other benefits may be included as part of the total package.
