We are seeking a dedicated, detail oriented Part Time Administrative Receptionist to be the welcoming face and operational backbone of our office. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for our patients and supporting the daily flow of our practice. The Opportunity This is a part time position offering a unique opportunity to apply your organizational and customer service skills in a dynamic healthcare setting in Bethesda, MD. Key Responsibilities As the first point of contact, your primary focus will be on patient experience and office efficiency : Patient Intake and Financials : Registering new patients and efficiently collecting copays and outstanding balances at the time of service. Scheduling Management : Managing the clinical schedule by booking, confirming, and rescheduling patient appointments accurately. Communication Hub : Managing all incoming and outgoing telephone calls, directing inquiries, and ensuring clear communication between patients, therapists, and staff. Administrative Support : Performing essential administrative tasks to support the practice’s daily operations and providing necessary administrative assistance to our sister company, Myopain Seminars. Qualifications and Experience Required Skills Education : High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Administrative Proficiency : Demonstrated experience with office procedures, practice management software, and strong general administrative skills. Technical Skills : Proficiency in word processing and accurate keyboarding. Core Competencies : Exceptional communication and customer service skills with a professional and empathetic demeanor. Highly Valued Skills Previous experience or knowledge of rehabilitation procedures and medical terminology. Experience with inventory management and ordering office supplies. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range : $38,000 to $44,000 annually (pro-rated for part time hours), commensurate with experience.
