Interventional Pain Institute (IPI) is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant with a strong background in pain management. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience, be able to work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is essential. Medical Assistant certification is preferred.

Compensation : $19.00-21.00 per hour

Schedule : Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8am-4 : 30pm

Location : Chesterfield, MO 63017

Work Setting : Clinic, Medical office / Private practice, In-person.

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Prepare injections and solutions for patient procedures.
  • Clean, prepare, and sterilize medical instruments and surgical equipment.
  • Coordinate patient information with physicians and other medical personnel.
  • Accurately follow physician orders, protocols, and instructions.
  • Collect patient data, including height, weight, and medical history.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing reports and answering phones.
  • Manage pre-authorizations and maintain organized charts.
  • Check patients in and out efficiently.
  • Assist with coordination of physician schedules and appointments.

To protect our staff and patients, we have implemented safety measures, including masks, face shields, and hand sanitizers.

Qualifications :

  • EMR systems experience : 1 year (required)
  • Medical Assistant experience : 2+ years (preferred)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification (preferred)
  • Strong background in pain management (preferred)
