Summary :
The Nursing Innovation Specialist provides strategic and operational leadership cultivating networks and partnerships across the system to foster nurse empowerment in nursing innovation. Responsible for providing leadership, assistance, and support in the development, implementation, evaluation, enhancement, and maintenance of a comprehensive pediatric nursing innovation program. Engages and collaborates with the department of nursing to generate new nursing knowledge through innovation. This position will be responsible for developing the nursing innovation program, aligning with the nursing research, innovation, and evidence-based practice program within Nursing Excellence. Works closely with the Nursing Excellence leadership to organize, execute, and / or facilitate nursing innovation and excellence across the health system in alignment with the strategic plan and to promote a vision for translational innovation in healthcare.
