Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Wilson, NC 27893 – Small-town charm, historic sites, and easy access to Raleigh and coastal North Carolina

Healthcare Setting : Operating Room (6 ORs)

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) position

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 9, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8 or 10 hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, with on-call requirements

Weekly Hours : 40 guaranteed

On-Call : 1 day per week and every 3rd weekend

Patient Ratio : 1 : 1

Electronic Health Record : Meditech

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1930 - $2070

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible to practice in North Carolina

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience (2+ years preferred)

Experience as a circulating nurse in the OR required

Ability to work both 8x5 and 4x10 shifts as needed

Meditech EHR experience preferred

Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills

Scrubbing experience on surgical cases is a plus

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Serve as a circulating nurse in a busy operating room, supporting a range of surgical specialties : Orthopedic, General Surgery, Laparoscopy, Urology, GYN, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, ENT, Pediatric Dentistry, and more

Assist with common surgical procedures including abdominal, GYN, laparoscopic, fracture repair, total joints, bladder, prostate, cataracts, and others

Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all surgical procedures

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team

Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Meditech

Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled

Adhere to hospital policies, dress code (blue scrubs provided), and maintain a professional demeanor
