Sr. UX Designer Job at Insight Global in New York

Overview

A global banking client is looking to hire a Sr. UX Designer in New York City. This role is on the Digital Brand Products team and you’ll lead the design of digital experiences that elevate the client brand across consumer, prospect, and internal touchpoints. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define intuitive interfaces for high-profile events. Your work will also support internal tools, enabling brand consistency across the enterprise. You’ll conduct user research and data analysis to inform design decisions and ensure accessibility and usability. You’ll create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity specs using Figma, and present your design strategies to stakeholders with clarity and influence. You’ll contribute to evolving design systems and UX patterns to ensure scalability and cohesion. This is a strategic and hands-on role that will shape the future of digital brand experiences at the company.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX or product design within digital product organizations
• Deep expertise in Figma and modern design tools
• Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies and usability principles
• Experience conducting user research and translating insights into design
• Ability to communicate design decisions effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven collaboration with cross-functional teams including product and engineering
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity specs
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and strategic problem-solving skills
• Experience designing for brand activations or sponsorships (e.g., live events, media)
