Salary : $18 - $21 Hourly

Bunney's Body & Collision Repair is seeking to hire a motivated Auto Body Paint Prep Technician to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our facility in Belle Fourche, South Dakota.

Bunney's Body Shop is a well-established auto body repair facility known for delivering high-quality automotive repair services. If you have a passion for the automotive industry and a proven trac. Hours are from 7 : 30 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Training for this position will begin promptly to learn the processes and procedures that Bunney's Body & Collision Repair has developed.

Qualifications :

  • Previous auto body, refinishing, or paint prep experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to safety and cleanliness.
  • Valid drivers license with a good driving record.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Clean, degrease, and mask vehicles prior to paint application.
  • Sand, featheredge, and prime repaired areas.
  • Mix and match paint under supervision, when needed.
  • Assist with taping, masking, and other prep work to protect surfaces not being painted.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including paint booth and equipment.
  • Assist refinish technicians as needed to meet production deadlines.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
