Are you a detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in commercial construction estimating? We're seeking a skilled Construction Estimator specializing in demolition and excavation projects to join our dynamic team. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and have expertise in accurate takeoffs, change orders, and cost analysis, this could be your next career move!

Key Responsibilities :

Perform detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial demolition and excavation projects using PlanSwift software.
Prepare and submit change orders, ensuring compliance with project specifications and budgets.
Participate in job walks to assess site conditions, scope of work, and potential challenges.
Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to develop competitive bids.
Analyze blueprints, site plans, and specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of estimates, revisions, and project data for reporting and auditing.

Qualifications :

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in construction estimating, takeoffs, and change order submittals, with a focus on commercial demolition and excavation.

Proficiency in PlanSwift estimating software is required.

Strong understanding of Southern California construction regulations, permitting, and industry standards.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven setting.
