• Job Description :

As a Caregiver / Home Health Aide (HHA), you will play a pivotal role in offering essential support to clients in their homes. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. You will work closely with clients to understand their individual needs and preferences, fostering a trusting relationship that promotes overall well-being.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, enhancing their social interaction and overall mental health.
• Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor and record client’s vital sign's, health status, and behavior changes, reporting any concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean living environment.
• Engage clients in recreational activities and hobbies to promote physical and mental well-being.
• Foster effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Follow safety protocols and best practices to ensure client safety and well-being.
• Qualifications :
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Home Health Aide preferred.
• Previous experience in a caregiving role or related field is a plus.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and care plans.
• Proficiency in basic healthcare and safety protocols.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations.
• Pass background checks and meet any state-specific requirements for HHAs.
