Key Responsibilities
Respond to patient and guarantor inquiries regarding billing issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
Provide information on financial assistance and payment arrangements while adhering to policies
Document all patient interactions and account actions in billing systems to maintain a clear audit trail
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred
Knowledge of Epic billing systems preferred
1-3 years of relevant experience in customer service or collections in a healthcare setting strongly preferred
Alternative work experience or training may be considered in lieu of experience
Understanding of medical terminology and billing processes is beneficial
