Communications Interceptor

This role requires individuals to identify, categorize, translate, and summarize foreign language communications from a specific location.

The Communications Interceptor will operate and oversee signals equipment used in signals intelligence operations, learn the skills needed to conduct military briefings, and inform appropriate authorities when necessary.

The nation's defense largely depends on information that comes from foreign languages, making this role crucial for national security.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Age : 17 to 34 years old
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Meet Tattoo Guidelines
  • No Major Law Violations
  • No Medical Concerns

  • 36-64 weeks of education at the Defense Foreign Language Institute required if Soldier is not fluent in a foreign language
