ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Acute Care for a travel nursing job in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Long Term Acute Care Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift Location City, State Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Day shift; 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts. Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) ensures the delivery of high-quality care by adhering to the nursing care plan and supervising Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. The RN is dedicated to patient and employee safety and promotes a culture of safety within the work environment. Responsibilities Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission. Identify teaching needs and goals related to each patient's diagnosis. Provide timely patient information for team conferences and ensure accurate documentation. Participate in the rehabilitation program, focusing on direct patient care. Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission. Communicate changes in patient status to appropriate care providers. Supervise and train ancillary nursing personnel; delegate tasks appropriately. Maintain personal and environmental safety in accordance with policies and procedures. Actively engage in team-building activities to foster a positive work environment. Assume charge responsibilities as needed following orientation. Pursue professional development through continuing education and self-study. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure BLS Certification required prior to first shift. ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY).
