Floral Designer

Floral design studio in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley neighborhood seeking experienced florist / floral designer for customer service / floral design role.

Basic computer skills

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Valid CA driver’s license

One year minimum commitment

Responsibilities :

Customer service via phone and email

Inputting orders into point-of-sale system and printing gift cards

Event consultations, quotes, and proposals

Flower arranging

Managing delivery couriers

Updating product catalog on website

This position is 75% customer service and 25% floral design. Candidate must be willing and able to step into additional roles as needed (i.e. flower processing, purchasing inventory, driving deliveries, unloading stock, cleaning and organizing, prepping vases, event set-up, decor installation, generating content for social media, etc.)

Candidate must be professional, reliable, organized, punctual, detail-oriented, extremely flexible, and dedicated to being a critical asset to the company as this is a small business environment.

Full-time Monday through Friday position (plus a few weekends a year corresponding to major floral holidays and events) with a start date in December 2019 or January 2020. Availability to work extra hours on and around Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, International Women's Day, and Administrative Professionals’ Day is a must.

Compensation : Depends on Experience (Hourly)
