Position Summary

Under the direction of the Maintenance Person and upper-level maintenance personnel, the Maintenance Helper assists with repairs, setup, adjustments, welding, and lubrication activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel. Occasional requirements include sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and operating equipment with feet. Protective gear such as gloves, goggles, hard hat, safety glasses, and safety boots may be required in production areas. Must frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
