Physical Therapist - Senior Rehabilitation Specialist

Location : Waverly, NY | Full-Time | Direct Hire | Permanent or Travel Options | New Graduates Welcome

Position Overview

Join a leading healthcare organization in Waverly, NY as a Physical Therapist where you'll deliver exceptional rehabilitation services across multiple care settings. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with diverse patient populations while advancing your career in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans across outpatient, skilled nursing, and assisted living settings
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and maintain detailed clinical documentation
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care
  • Participate in care planning meetings and clinical decision-making
  • Mentor and guide support staff and therapy assistants
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current New York State Physical Therapy license
  • Strong clinical skills in geriatric and adult rehabilitation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • New graduates welcome - mentorship provided
  • Experience in multiple care settings preferred but not required
