Vice President of Procurement title may be offered based on the candidates experience and qualifications.

This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Senior Director (or VP) of Procurement to oversee all aspects of our procurement strategy and implementation plan.

The Senior Director of Procurement will oversee and optimize the end-to-end procurement operations for our solar energy projects. This leadership role is responsible for sourcing, contracts, logistics, inventory management, and vendor relationships to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of solar equipment and materials.

Our headquarters is in St. Louis, with an additional office location in Los Angeles. The ability to work from our STL or LA office is a plus, but remote work candidates are also welcome.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals and industry best practices.
  • Manage Purchasing and Contracts : Lead procurement activities, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Vendor Management : Develop and foster relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners to ensure reliability and quality.
  • Collaborative Leadership : Collaborate with engineering, finance, and project teams to forecast demand and plan capacity.
  • Risk Management / Compliance : Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company goals, and provide updates to company leadership on changes in the regulatory environment.
  • Team Leadership : Lead, develop, and mentor the procurement team.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelors degree in supply chain management, business administration, construction management, or related field; masters preferred.
  • Experience : 7-10 years of procurement experience, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industry.
