The Podiatrist will examine, diagnose, treat, and prevent foot and ankle conditions, collaborating with clinical staff to improve patient outcomes.
Essential duties include providing primary foot care services, performing diagnostic assessments, prescribing treatments, and conducting surgeries within scope. They will manage care for diabetic patients, advise on footwear and foot health, and ensure adherence to evidence-based practices and infection control standards.
The role requires strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, record-keeping accuracy, and the ability to work independently. Candidates must hold a valid California Podiatric Medicine license, CPR / First Aid, DEA registration, and a driver’s license. Preferred qualifications include 2-4 years of experience and certifications like ACLS or PALS.
Work involves standard office tasks, patient interaction, and potential exposure to biological hazards.
