Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 educational institution in Punta Gorda, FL is seeking a dedicated Teacher for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students. This full-time position is a 25 / 26 school year contract designed to support the academic and social development of students with hearing impairments.

Key Qualifications :

• Certification or licensure as a Teacher for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
• Experience working with K-12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Strong knowledge of munication methods such as sign language and assistive listening technologies
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent classroom management and collaborative skills

Contract Duration : Full-time, 25 / 26 school year (NSY)
