Sr. Project Executive

This role's focus is strategic relationship-building with key channel partners, including MEP Engineering firms (MEPs), Construction Management firms (CMs), and Owner's Project Managers (OPMs), to generate geothermal project opportunities. The projects generated through this role move to the Project Development Teams to develop to construction. Success in this role requires industry knowledge and strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. There is a strong preference for existing connections or relationships with MEPs, CMs and OPMs, with an understanding of geothermal project development as a plus. The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-starter who takes a proactive approach to identifying key decision makers, stakeholder motivations, opportunities for cross-functional collaboration, and demonstrates strong relationship fostering skills and has a customer service-oriented mindset.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Relationship Development

  • Identify, engage and build long-term relationships with key channel partners, including MEPs, CMs, OPMs, etc.
  • Proactively coordinate and engage in virtual and / or in person outreach, follow up, or other partnership meetings with key channel partners and other target partners on a regular basis.
  • Understand partner business models, motivations, decision-making frameworks, and project pipelines to identify opportunities for collaboration.

Lead Generation

  • Clear understanding of Brightcore's value proposition and ability to build rapport and effectively articulate the same to position Brightcore as the preferred partner for Geothermal and Energy Efficiency projects.
  • Collaborate with Project Development teams to pinpoint preferred target project characteristics for specific partner firms.
  • Identify, source, and pre-qualify Geothermal opportunities from partner firms based on target qualification criteria determined by Project Development teams.
  • Proactively engages with key channel partners to foster a continuous project pipeline.
  • Facilitates smooth transition of opportunities from a key channel partner to Project Development teams for development to construction while prioritizing the key channel partner experience.
  • Determine opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling to key channel partners beyond Geothermal where appropriate.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and maintain target outreach and lists of existing key channel partners for follow up. This includes identifying and qualifying potential key channel partners to determine 'best fit' for collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities to leveraging key channel partner relationships and create a strategic plan for each key channel partner.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Revenue Officer, Origination and Partnerships teams to come up with KPIs or other criteria for assessing quality of relationships to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Participate in events or conferences to actively engage in relationship building, outreach and foster a business pipeline to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Present introductory, Lunch & Learn, training decks or other materials to MEPs, CMs, OPMs, or other key channel partners to establish a sound understanding of Geothermal and to highlight Brightcore's value proposition to catalyze Lead generation opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence & Feedback

  • Monitor and synthesize market trends to inform Brightcore's business development strategy.
  • Provide meaningful insights to the Project Development teams on the needs, targets, motivations, and anticipated concerns gleaned from engagement with key channel partner firms.
  • Translate key channel partner insights into actionable sales strategies in collaboration with the Partnerships, Origination and Project Development teams.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 7 years in any combination of business development, sales, or client-facing roles, or similar experience.
  • Proven track record of building and managing strategic partnerships.
  • Background in or experience working with renewable energy project development, energy efficiency, real estate development, MEP engineering, Owner's project management, environmental engineering, construction project management, architecture, or a comparable field.
  • Sound understanding of MEP Engineering and Construction Management workflows.
  • Proven ability to manage complex client-facing relationships with multiple stakeholders, technical disciplines and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with project management software, CRM and communication platforms for performance tracking, transparent information sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills with experience in stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, both internal and external.
  • The candidate must be comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving industry with changing regulations and emerging technologies.
  • The ideal candidate is resourceful, takes initiative, demonstrates a strong sense of ownership over tasks, and must be able to work independently and creatively in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
  • The candidate is open-minded to experiment with new ways of working and business models.
  • The successful candidate is a strategic thinker with the ability to step back from day-to-day to see the bigger picture.
  • This position does not have supervisory responsibility.

    An Employee must work a minimum of thirty (30) hours each week to maintain full-time status for benefits purposes, however the expectations of the position will require an average of forty (40) hours with overtime required as scheduled. The salary range and / or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining an employee's base salary and / or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity). Brightcore also offers a comprehensive set of benefits to compliment the base salary.

    Travel required up to 10% in the Northeast.

    Office setting.
