job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline. Minimum 2 years of working experience in mechanical or electronic system applications (product development, integration, or support). Solid understanding of mechanical components, electronic circuits, and system-level integration. Strong communication and customer service skills. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 30%). Experience working with manufacturing clients or OEM / ODM environments. Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) and circuit analysis software. Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings. Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a strong plus. Competitive base salary and annual performance bonus. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Field Application Engineer (FAE) with a strong background in mechanical and electronic engineering to join our North America team. Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary technical interface between Foxconn and our customers, providing application support and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to identify and resolve customer technical issues.
- Deliver product presentations, technical training, and on-site troubleshooting.
- Support customers with mechanical / electronic system design, testing, and integration.
- Assist in new product introduction (NPI), including design validation and customer qualification.
- Gather and relay customer feedback to internal R&D for continuous product improvement.
- Manage pre- and post-sales support activities and maintain excellent client relationships.
