Position Summary :
Pride Health is seeking an experienced AI Workforce Job Designer to lead a short-term, high-impact engagement focused on building the foundational workforce architecture for a growing Artificial Intelligence Division. Over a 120-day (13-week) period, this consultant-level role will drive enterprise-level AI / ML workforce planning, develop standardized job families and competencies, and deliver market-informed compensation frameworks tailored for a public health sector environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct workforce planning and capacity modeling for AI / ML functions aligned with future-state organizational goals.
- Design standardized job families and role levels across AI and data science disciplines.
- Define core and technical competencies for each AI-related job classification.
- Develop clear and scalable job descriptions and career pathways to support internal mobility and talent development.
- Perform compensation benchmarking using public-sector, healthcare, and technology market data to inform equitable titling and pay structures.
- Deliver actionable recommendations for sustainable talent architecture aligned to organizational strategy.
- Propose a scalable framework to support long-term AI workforce growth and planning.
- Collaborate with technical leadership, including the Senior Director of AI & Engineering, to align job designs and competencies with operational and innovation objectives.
- Prepare clear documentation and present frameworks to HR and technical stakeholders.
- Perform additional related duties as required.
Required Qualifications :
Education :Master’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Data Science, or a related field.Experience :4+ years of experience in workforce strategy, HR consulting, or organizational design.At least 2 years of experience supporting AI, data science, or other technical teams is preferred.Technical Knowledge :In-depth understanding of AI / ML roles, team structures, and required skill sets.Expertise in job architecture, competency modeling, and compensation benchmarking.Familiarity with healthcare, public sector, or civil service workforce frameworks is highly desirable.Skills :Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to synthesize complex information into practical, HR-aligned deliverables.Excellent communication skills, with experience in presenting to executive and technical audiences.Tools & Software :
