Life Line Home Care Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Billing and Collections Specialist to manage patient accounts, process invoices, and ensure billing accuracy in compliance with insurance guidelines. Responsibilities include handling denied claims, responding to billing inquiries, auditing documentation, updating patient records, and collaborating with case managers and billing teams. The specialist will also assist with insurance renewals, CMNs, and PARs, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will fit the following description :

• 2+ years of experience as a DME Biller
• Possess knowledge of DME related HCPCS codes and have a successful track record with compliance.
• Have experience interpreting / processing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and insurance denials, ability to resolve past due claims, and knowledge of insurance payer specific prior authorizations requirements preferred.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED required; billing and coding certification preferred

At least 1 year of related experience

Knowledge of billing software, insurance documentation, and claims processing

Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
