Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, located in Toledo, OH. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials, stress tests and MUGA scans, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring the accurate capture of diagnostic images. Other tasks include maintaining patient records, ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures, and collaborating with the medical team to interpret results.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in performing diagnostic imaging procedures and operating nuclear medicine equipment
  • Experience in preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine
  • Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within a medical team
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
