Technical Product Owner

Role : Technical Product Owner

Location- NJC, NJ- 3 days onsite in a week

Salary- $120K-130K + benefits

Key Responsibilities

Define and own the product backlog for the ADR initiative; prioritize features based on business value and regulatory timelines.

Work closely with stakeholders across ADR operations, compliance, product teams, and technology to gather and refine requirements.

Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.

Act as the voice of the customer and ensure alignment of delivery with business goals and compliance requirements.

Lead grooming sessions, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives with Agile delivery teams.

Ensure traceability between business objectives and delivered technical features.

Identify system / process gaps and propose enhancements to improve operational efficiency and reporting.

Track progress, report on risks / issues, and support change management and UAT activities.

Required Skills and Experience

10+ years of experience in Product Owner or Business Analyst roles within Capital Markets / Investment Banking.

Strong understanding of ADR (American Depositary Receipts), securities processing, and custody operations.

Hands-on experience working in Agile / Scrum environments, including writing epics / stories and maintaining a product backlog.

Familiarity with reference data systems, settlements, corporate actions, and regulatory reporting.

Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, especially across business and technology functions.

Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and product management frameworks.
