Description :

This position is for a registered nurse in the Emergency Department.

The facility features a 16-bed free-standing emergency department.

There is no trauma designation, and it is licensed under a main facility.

The department operates 24 / 7 and provides on-site X-ray, CT, and ultrasound services.

Limited STAT outpatient imaging is available on weekdays with a maximum of six patients per day.

The average number of ED visits per day is approximately 68.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 4 typically.

Support within the department includes a paramedic on site and cross-training among clinicians.

Technology and equipment utilized include EMR with EPIC, Alaris, and Omnicell.

Float requirements may involve moving to regional facilities within the scope of practice.

Weekend rotation requires every other weekend availability.

Holiday expectations mandate that travelers work a significant portion of the assigned holidays.

Travelers may request time off, but it must not include holiday weeks.

The schedule cycle operates on a six-week rotation.
