The selected candidate will engage deeply in the drafting, design, and development processes, ensuring high standards are met and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.

Salary : $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Design and draft detailed civil engineering plans from initial concept through to final approval, encompassing both public infrastructure and private site drawings.
• Perform rigorous engineering calculations, including hydraulic computations essential in supporting various project designs, using tools such as TR-55, TR-20, and HEC-RAS.
• Liaise with clients and consultants to ensure that all design proposals meet both external specifications and internal standards.
• Apply current design practices to comply with all jurisdictional, regulatory, and building code requirements.
• Facilitate smooth project review and approval processes by coordinating effectively with jurisdictional representatives.
• Oversee project management aspects such as tracking milestones, managing deliverables, and maintaining transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate actively within the development team contributing to all phases of project planning and execution.
• Complete other related tasks as assigned by the Civil Engineering Department Director to support broader department goals.
