Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an X-ray Technologist with ARRT certification and proficiency with mobile and stationary radiographic equipment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a diagnostic radiology unit
  • Covers Fri-Sun night shifts from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Patient care includes performing diagnostic X-rays and fluoro studies
  • Use of mobile and stationary radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment
  • Caseload includes acute care and emergency cases
  • Responsibilities include performing diagnostic X-ray procedures and contrast injections
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment is essential
  • Work environment may include both routine and acute situations
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

  • ARRT-R certification required and CT ARRT preferred
  • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiology program
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
  • Venipuncture certificate with proficiency in starting IVs for contrast injections
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required
  • Must be familiar with state and federal regulations
  • At least one year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred
  • License required if applicable
  • Proficient computer skills required
