We're building our project team in  Atlanta , seeking a licensed Associate - Structural Engineer

Our work covers most commercial building types, including office, retail, industrial, hotel / hospitality, and multi-family; focus on industrial and commercial (office, high rise multifamily) structure. A Structural Associate is a registered Professional Engineer and is responsible for understanding all aspects of a project relative to its scope, technical accuracy, potential risk, and client requirements.

Essential Functions

• Review and analyze contract documents including calculations, drawings, and specifications, for new-build construction projects
• Perform property condition assessments
• Understand the root cause of issues observed at existing building and parking garage construction and prepare repair documents, and appropriate details, needed to address conditions
• Collaborate with the client, internal team, consultants, and site contact, and be responsible for an overall understanding of their project(s)
• Prepare formal reports
• Act as technical team member and small project lead
• Travel to client sites as needed, approximately 30%

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering required
