job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerform routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime Repair or replace faulty equipment parts and components Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure efficient operations Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while performing maintenance tasks Utilize computerized maintenance management systems to track work orders and schedules Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as needed High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in relevant fields (e.g., HVAC, electrical systems) preferred 2-5 years of experience in industrial or commercial maintenance Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Proficiency in using hand and power tools Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and best practices Basic computer skills for using maintenance management systems In-depth understanding of safety regulations and procedures Knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints Physical stamina to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Excellent communication and teamwork skills
