Journeyman & Apprentice Electricians - Columbus, MS

United Trades of America is seeking highly skilled Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians for a commercial project in Columbus, Mississippi . This is a local position , with NO PER DIEM offered. Pay is based on experience .

Position Details :

  • Job Title : Electrician
  • Location : Columbus, MS
  • Pay : Competitive hourly rate, based on experience
  • Industry : Commercial Electrical
  • Work Hours : Approximately 50 to 60 hours per week
  • Travel : Local candidates only (no travel, no per diem)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Install and maintain electrical systems for commercial projects, including industrial equipment installation
  • Run EMT conduit , pull wire, and perform terminations
  • Install and troubleshoot lights , receptacles , and other electrical components
  • PLC experience required for troubleshooting and system integration
  • Ensure electrical systems adhere to safety standards and project timelines

    • Ideal Candidate Qualifications :

  • Strong experience with EMT conduit , electrical installations , and PLC systems
  • Proven ability to follow safety protocols and work in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Must have own tools and PPE
  • Apprentices should have a foundational understanding of electrical work with a desire to learn
