This position is located in the SNF, SNF-MC, RCFE units of the Veterans Home of California - West Los Angeles.

Working Conditions

Working overtime is a requirement of this position.

Employees of CalVet will be required to follow state or county public health guidelines and requirements enacted in accordance with infectious disease prevention and control.

• Face Coverings :

While working on-site at any CalVet facility, employees must follow current face covering guidance as issued by the California Department of Public Health. Employees working in a county where the local health jurisdiction has issued a stricter public health ordinance must comply with the local order.

Certified Nursing Assistants at CalVet will receive the maximum salary of Range A or B, based on eligibility.

Range A - $4,346

Range B - $4,665

Veterans may qualify for a CalVet Veterans Hiring Preference. Military service must be included in the Employment History section of the Employment Applications (STD. 678).
