This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office each week.

Who will you be working with?

Our best-in-class Strategy & Operational Effectiveness team has overarching responsibility for driving consistent excellence in strategic planning, program and project execution, financial and asset management, M&A integration, and enterprise architecture across global Wabtec IT.

How will you make a difference?

The Director of IT Strategy and Performance is a key individual contributor role reporting to the Vice President of IT, Strategy & Operational Effectiveness. Through data-driven decision making, strategic planning, and performance metrics, you'll connect IT initiatives to business outcomes while building strong partnerships across the organization. This strategic position shapes and drives a cohesive IT strategy development and execution across Wabtec's global IT organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing technology investments to deliver customer value.

What do we want to know about you?

You must have :

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of experience in IT strategy, business / technology alignment, or related roles
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing multi-year technology strategies
• Experience with strategic performance measurement and KPI development
• Excellent facilitation skills with ability to lead strategic planning sessions with senior leaders
• Proven ability to influence organizational decisions through clear communication, persuasive storytelling, and building agreement among diverse groups
• Expert written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
• Demonstrated ability to influence complex organizational decisions through strategic communication, compelling storytelling, and the capacity to build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups
• Ability to influence without direct authority across organizational boundaries

Work Environment :

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary range for this role is between $117,900.00-$168,000.00. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as : training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
