Position Overview : We are seeking a skilled and dynamic mid-level Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing various therapeutic discovery projects, working closely with technical and scientific teams, including chemists, biologists, and engineers. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for driving innovation in the biotech industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver therapeutic discovery projects within defined timelines and budget constraints.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates, addressing inquiries, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate activities among internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth project execution.
- Facilitate regular team meetings, including kick-off, status update, and post-mortem meetings, to track progress, identify issues, and drive solutions.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report financial performance to stakeholders as needed.
- Implement project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to optimize project outcomes and streamline processes.
- Proactively identify risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate concerns to senior management as necessary.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and professional growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as project management, life sciences, engineering, or related discipline. Master's degree preferred.3+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects from initiation to completion.Strong understanding of scientific and technical concepts related to pharmaceutical discovery and development, including AI, chemistry, biology, and engineering.Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana) and familiarity with Agile methodologies.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus.Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.Competitive compensation package, including salary, benefits, and opportunities for professional development.
