A respected Texas-based personal injury law firm is seeking a Briefing & Research Attorney to support its litigation team in Corpus Christi. This position is ideal for a junior attorney seeking a highly analytical role focused on legal drafting, motion practice, and trial preparation. The role provides an opportunity to develop deep expertise in personal injury law by working closely with experienced litigators on case strategy and courtroom support.

Location

Duties

Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests / responses

Prepare for depositions and support attorneys with deposition strategy and research

Assist trial attorneys with trial preparation and courtroom materials

Conduct in-depth legal research on personal injury topics and applicable case law

Participate in strategy sessions to help frame compelling legal arguments

Collaborate with cross-functional litigation teams to move cases forward

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under deadline

Ability to collaborate with trial attorneys while also working independently

Commitment to client advocacy and high-quality legal writing

Flexibility for occasional after-hours or emergency support

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Texas

Skills

Superior writing, grammar, and analytical reasoning

Strong legal research and drafting capabilities

Team-oriented with excellent communication skills

Organizational and time management proficiency

Prior customer service or sales experience is a plus

Spanish language skills are a plus

Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record required
