Duties to Include :

• Perform closed circuit television (CCTV) inspections of the City's stormwater drainage systems to support MS-4 permit requirements and post construction inspections.
• Perform CCTV inspections according to NASSCO standards.
• Inspect drainage systems according to federal, state, and local law and regulation.
• Perform post construction and maintenance inspections of drainage systems according to state and local drainage system design standards and specifications, and general industry standards.
• Perform CCTV investigative inspections of drainage systems to support staff addressing citizen requests, environmental concerns, or other drainage related issues.
• Plan and schedule inspections according to a developed inspection program cycle.
• Research, track, and report inspection activities and results in a resource management system such as Hansen or Cartegraph.
• Perform other duties requiring skills, knowledge and physical requirements as demanded by those duties described or less.
• Individual assignments will be determined by the supervisor based on department needs.
• Physical ability to launch camera equipment, lift manhole covers, and perform other heavy lifting up to 100 lbs.

This position is ALPHA 1 and is required to work in excess of their normally scheduled days / hours during all inclement weather (flooding, hurricanes & snow), and / or in response to short-term department needs and / or City-wide emergencies.
