You will have the flexibility (after training) to work a hybrid schedule from a Mercantile Bank office that is close to your home. You can work two days a week at one of our locations in Alma, Grand Rapids, Holland, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Traverse City, Troy, or West Branch, Michigan.

As a key player in the timely and accurate production of mortgage files, you will assist the Processing team in ordering and validating essential documents such as property titles, appraisals, and credit reports. This role demands strong organizational skills as you navigate work queues and checklists under tight deadlines to deliver outstanding internal customer service. Responsibilities include managing the appraisal delivery process, preparing various regulatory notices, and providing cross-functional support across the mortgage operations spectrum. Additionally, you will collaborate with management on report monitoring and administrative tasks while gaining familiarity with the Bank's Loan Origination System and other essential tools. This position offers a unique opportunity to build expertise in the banking industry while ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
