Job Description :

Key Responsibility Areas :

  • Architecture

Responsible for all IT infrastructures (networks, servers, system software, and tools) to ensure efficient and effective operation of IT tools.

  • Security

    • Plays a significant role in designing and implementing security systems to ensure IT systems are safe.

  • Business Continuity

    • Responsible for establishing and executing a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to ensure business continuity of IT systems.

  • Hardware / Software

    • Directs the analysis, selection, and ongoing maintenance of hardware and system software components and tools.

    Core Activities :

  • Identify and propose modifications, changes, or new designs for the infrastructure.
  • Identify and agree on external service providers, such as web hosting sites.
  • Audit security systems against agreed plans / policies.
  • Monitor logs and systems for signs of breaches / non-compliances.
  • Create, update, and audit the BCP.
  • Manage and coordinate support for technical hardware and system software problems.
  • Approve technology and technical environment for proposed applications.
  • Maintain technical documentation for current systems.

    • Additional Responsibilities :

  • Ministry Involvement

    • Actively participate in team life, including devotions, prayer times, meetings, and social functions.

  • Compensation - Support Base Development

    • Develop and maintain a prayer and financial support base for ministry with OM Ships International.

  • Safe Working Practices

    • Ensure work is carried out in accordance with safety, environmental, and legal regulations.
