Healthcare Setting : Acute Care Hospital, Med / Surg Unit (54 beds)

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 – End : 2 / 9 / 2026)

Nursing Shift : 3x12-hour nights (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am), every other weekend required

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1420 - $1530

Patient Ratio : 1 : 6

Charting System : Epic

Scrub Color : Royal Blue

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg RN experience in a hospital setting

Active South Carolina RN license or Compact nursing license (must be in hand prior to start)

BLS and ACLS certifications required

IV start skills required

Telemetry and cardiac gtt management experience preferred

First-time travel nurses accepted

Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a busy Med / Surg unit

Monitor and manage patient conditions, including cardiac telemetry and IV therapy

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and provide wound care

Maintain accurate documentation using Epic charting system

Float to similar units as needed to support hospital operations

Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)
