MEP Mechanical Engineer

Overview

An MEP Design Firm I work exclusively with is looking to onboard 3-4 entry or junior-level HVAC designers ASAP for 3 large projects that are about to hit.

They specialize in large-scale projects across Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Fortune 50 companies up & down the East Coast. You will work directly under a Mechanical PE and accelerate your career to Project Management quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, institutional, and residential buildings
• Support system load calculations and equipment selection
• Prepare design drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors during the design and construction phases
• Participate in site visits and field inspections
• Research local building codes, materials, and industry standards
• Help troubleshoot mechanical design issues during construction and commissioning
• Contribute to sustainable and energy-efficient design practices
