Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting in Easley, SC. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and offers an engaging role embedded within a supportive educational environment. The role primarily focuses on delivering specialized speech-language services to a caseload of 50-55 students, addressing various communication needs within the school population.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to K-12 students in compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy sessions tailored to students specific needs.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress and participation.
- Document and maintain accurate records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
- Utilize teletherapy as appropriate to extend service delivery options.
Qualifications and Experience :
Active SC Speech Language Pathologist License.Valid South Carolina teaching credential with Speech Education certification.Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).Experience working in schools with a demonstrated understanding of IEP processes.Familiarity with pediatric speech-language pathology and teletherapy is preferred.Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome to apply.No experience with VOCO systems is necessary.Location :
