Bon Secours Mercy Health is hiring a fellowship trained Orthopedic Upper Extremity Surgeon to be a part of the Bon Secours Southside Surgery Group in Petersburg, Virginia!  Southside Regional Medical Center is a level lll trauma center.  This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a group of professional providers with a referral base pattern in place.  Up to 15 surgical cases per week!

Job Details :

• Fulltime Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
• Call Schedule : 7 days a month, ED call, cross coverage, trauma, complaints, Rx and refills, general coverage.
• Hospital Credentialing : Bon Secours Southside Regional Medical Center
• Practice Setting : Outpatient and Multispecialty group.
• Typical Day : On call for ED 24 / 7 surgeries scheduled and office visits for follow up.
• Average Patients per day : 40 patients per clinic day.
• Patient age range : 15% adolescence, 65% adult, 20% geriatric
• Special Skills, Training required : BE / BC Orthopedic surgeon, fellowship trained in orthopedic upper extremity surgery.
• EMR : EPIC inpatient and outpatient, telemedicine, monitoring, rounding and consults.
• Practice Support : CMA, LPN and Practice Manager
