McKesson Medical-Surgical is seeking a strategic and dynamic Training Manager to lead training initiatives across our distribution network. This role oversees a team of field trainers and a training coordinator, ensuring readiness for new facility launches, process improvements, compliance initiatives, and large-scale rollouts. Training is delivered both remotely and onsite, with travel requirements up to 75% depending on project needs. This is a remote, US-based role, but due to travel expectations, candidates near major airport hubs are preferred.

As key leaders on the Corporate Operations Learning & Development (L&D) team, the Training Manager will work in close partnership with the Technical Writing Manager to align training and documentation. They will collaborate with Field Operations, Quality, Six Sigma, PMO, LMS, and other teams to ensure content is accurate, compliant, and operationally effective. The Training Manager also serves as the network's eQMS (MasterControl) gatekeeper, overseeing assignments, reporting, course releases, and job code structures to maintain audit readiness and compliance.

The Training Manager plays a pivotal role in rolling out train-the-trainer content and partnering with distribution center leadership, most notably the Continuous Improvement Leaders (CILs), who then support their sites in cascading the training to all frontline employees. This approach empowers local execution and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
