About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Care Therapist

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Specialty : RRT

Duration : 16 weeks

Shift : Night 3x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : 2 years minimum

License : State licensed required

Certifications : BLS required, RRT required, ACLS preferred

Must-Have :

Adult Critical Care Experience required

Airway Management Devices / Suctioning required

Care for Patients with ARDS / Pneumonia required

Medication Administration required

Aerosol setup (mask / trach) required

Nebulizer (cold / hand-held / trach collar) required

Oxygen Therapy and Ventilator Management required

ABG interpretation / Basic EKG / Chest Physiotherapy and drawing arterial blood gases required

EPIC experience preferred

Description :

RRT position available for night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts.

The role involves working in a critical care environment.

Healthcare professionals must manage patients with complex respiratory conditions.

Experience in adult critical care is essential.

Candidates will be responsible for airway management and medication administration.

Familiarity with various aerosol delivery systems is necessary.

Ventilator management and oxygen therapy skills are required.

The ability to interpret arterial blood gases and basic EKGs is important.

Experience with charting systems, specifically EPIC, is preferred.

Weekly work includes a rotation that may require coverage on weekends.

No on-call requirements.

The clinician will be part of a collaborative team of respiratory therapists.

The facility provides care for patients in need of intensive respiratory support.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to patient care and safety.

Additional training may be provided for specific equipment used in this setting.
