Fired Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, specify, and engineer fired equipment suitable for design needs to ensure reliable, cost-effective, and efficient operation.
• Prepare equipment cost estimates and man-hour forecasts for FEED and detailed design phases.
• Develop fired-equipment data sheets and technical specifications for bid and purchase.
• Conduct bid clarifications, attend bidder meetings, and prepare technical bid evaluations and summaries.
• Participate in client project meetings and coordinate with the fired-equipment team.
• Engage in design reviews, model reviews, HAZOP reviews, and constructability assessments.
• Develop construction sub-contracts for fired equipment and other mechanical equipment.
• Support on-site start-up and commissioning activities as needed.
• Attend pre-inspection meetings, perform inspections, and test fired equipment in vendor shops.

Preferred Qualifications

ASME Code (Section I, Section VIII – Divisions 1 & 2).

Minimum Qualifications

Certifications

Active engineering registration or licensure supporting Engineer of Record (EOR) requirements for Black & Veatch projects in applicable countries.

Salary Plan & Job Grade

Salary Plan : REG (Registered Engineering). Job Grade : 016.
