Locum Neurologist - Tacoma, Washington

Clinic-Based 6-Month Contract IMLC Accepted

Opportunity Snapshot : A well-established clinic in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist for a full-time, Monday-Friday outpatient assignment. This position offers a balanced caseload, an experienced support team, and a streamlined onboarding process with EPIC training included.

Key Details :

  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Duration : Up to 6 months
  • Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8a-5p
  • Setting : Outpatient clinic
  • FTE : 1.0
  • Patient Volume : 13-15 patients per day
  • Support Staff : Dedicated LPN or MA
  • EMR : Epic
  • Orientation : Light patient load on first day with full EPIC support onsite
  • Reason for Coverage : Hospitalist model transitioning, removing ambulatory care responsibilities

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct new patient and follow-up neurological evaluations
  • Administer therapeutic procedures such as Botox and Occipital Nerve Blocks (ONB)
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient treatment plans
  • Complete charting and documentation within EPIC
  • Collaborate with onsite administrative and clinical staff in a team-based, pod-style workspace

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology - Highly Preferred
  • Active Washington License - Highly Preferred; IMLC Accepted
  • DEA and BLS - Required
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR - Preferred
  • Experience with outpatient neurology and minor in-office procedures
