Within the Meta Recommendation Systems organization, the Facebook Search pillar is seeking a UX Research Manager to lead our Search product. Over 2 billion people use Facebook Search every month, and Search plays a major part in accomplishing Meta’s mission through helping people find and explore the best of Facebook. The rise of GenAI represents a significant shift in how we help people find and explore information, and our vision for Search is to become the next‑level Social Discovery Engine by building AI‑powered Search.

Our UX Research team is designing for a broad range of experiences, perspectives and backgrounds across the globe, which requires us to understand the behaviors of the people behind them.
UX researchers tackle some of the most complex challenges to gain insights into how people interact with each other and the world around them, and work collaboratively to contribute new ideas to products that impact the experiences of billions of people on a global scale.
At Meta, we employ a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods to accomplish our goals, including surveys, usability tests, diary studies and 1 : 1 interviews.

We come from industry and academia, with roots in anthropology, design research, economics, HCI, human factors, market research, political science, sociology, social computing, and social psychology, among others.
Base pay range
